On September 16, Applicant requested a one-year extension for this Major Site Plan. The request is to extend one year from the current expiration date of October 16, 2026. The new expiration date would be October 16, 2027. There has been one previous extension granted.
As a non-profit Religious Organization, Panagia Vlahernon Greek Monastery relies primarily on donated funds. Both the expenses of the daily functioning of the monastery and our continued construction efforts rely on these funds. It is an inevitability that donors come and go, and often quite unexpectedly. And because of this, construction can sometimes slow down due to lack of funds; it is for this reason primarily that we ask for an extension.
