DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The District 5 and 24 Medical Examiner Advisory Committee made a unanimous motion during the February 12, 2025, meeting to approve paying a legal claims settlement for the civil action suit Ruthel Forbes v. District 5 Medical Examiner, as presented by the Marion County Attorney's Office. Funds are being transferred for payment to be issued out of the Claims Legal Settlement account for the settlement that was negotiated and approved.
