DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

This is a request seeking approval of an Indemnification Agreement and Subdivision Improvement Agreement with Bond. The agreements, required under Land Code Section 2.18.4.E, which allows for up to 81individual building permits representing 50% of the density on a per lot basis within the project. The six conditions outlined in the proposed Indemnification Agreement have been met and the County Attorney’s office has approved the proposed agreement for Calesa Chestnut Grove Phase 2 Subdivision.

 

This subdivision is located in the southwest portion of the County and contains 162 lots and 7 tracts on 31.93 acres with 1.05 miles of roads.

Recommended action

Motion to approve the attached Indemnification Agreement and Subdivision Improvement Agreement with Bond between Colen Built Development, LLC and Marion County for the proposed Calesa Chestnut Grove Phase 2 Subdivision and authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the same.
