DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
A grant agreement between the State of Florida Department of Transportation and Marion County for the Belleview to Greenway Trail project was approved by the Board on August 18, 2026. Additionally, the City of Belleview will be providing the County with the initial funding shortfall indicated by the agreement. This adjustment recognizes the grant amount and adds the necessary funding to the project. The amount of $265,000, will be added to the project as an expected revenue, and additionally $233,997, will be added to the project from Transportation Projects Unassigned, as this amount has already been received from the City of Belleview.
