DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
In 2006, Marion County entered into an interlocal agreement with the Village Center Community Development District to provide for automatic and mutual aid between both organizations. In order to comply with state requirements, The Villages Public Safety department is required to have a COPCN for operating in Marion County. The application has been reviewed and meets all requirements of Marion County Ordinance 21-05.
