DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Following a broad search and an interview round with the most qualified candidates, Michael Chad Wicker received the highest composite ranking from the interview panel.
The first-round interview panel consisted of the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Director of Public Library Services, and the Assistant County Engineer of Road Maintenance. In addition to the first interview panel, Mr. Wicker completed a second-round interview with an Assistant County Administrator and the County Administrator. After the second-round interview process, it is evident that Mr. Wicker possesses both the skillset and the experience to lead the MSTU Department to the next level of success.
This memorandum shall serve as a notification to the Board of the appointment of Michael Chad Wicker as the next MSTU Director. Mr. Wicker’s starting salary is $100,401.60. Barring any discussion from the Commission, Mr. Wicker will be considered confirmed.
