DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue has been providing emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Marion County since 1978. In 1994, the level was increased from basic life support to advanced life support non-transport. Then, in 2008, it was upgraded to advanced life support transport. The attached application seeks to renew the advanced life support transport certificate of public convenience and necessity (COPCN). The current term is valid from March 10, 2020, through March 9, 2026. If the renewal is approved, the COPCN will be valid through March 9, 2032.
