DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Chuck Pigeon, P.E., agent for the Diocese of Orlando, has applied for a special use permit to expand an existing church complex in Rural Activity Center (RAC) and Manufactured Housing (M.H.) zoning classifications. The subject property is located on West Highway 40, adjacent to the Dorchester Estates subdivision, within the Farmland Preservation Area (FPA), and within the Rainbow Springs Secondary Protection Overlay Zone (SPOZ).
