DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On April 21, 2022, the County Administrator approved a Sole Source Determination and contract for Southern Rescue Tools, LLC, to provide annual maintenance service of all County extrication equipment.
Contract Amendment 2 is presented for Board consideration to renew the agreement for a three-year term ending June 30, 2029. The renewal includes a structured price schedule for the next three years.
A draft of the amendment is attached for review. Upon Board approval, the amendment will be forwarded to Southern Rescue Tools, LLC for signatures, and once returned will be sent to Legal, the Clerk, and Chairman for signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; estimated expenditure of $58,000. Funding is available in line EF300522-546301 (Fire Rescue and EMS Fund).

Motion to approve contract amendment, allow staff to issue, and upon approval by Legal, authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the contract amendment with Southern Rescue Tools, LLC under 22SS-136.
