DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Austin Dailey, Esq., with Klein & Klein, LLC, on behalf of Robert and Julie Gifford, filed a rezoning application to change a ±2.45-acre parcel from Regional Business (B-4) to Rural Commercial (RC-1). The Parcel Identification Number for the property is 08465-001-03; the site does not have an address, but it is located 1,200 feet south of the intersection of N US Hwy 441 and W Hwy 329. The legal description is provided within the application. The subject property is located within the Farmland Preservation Area (FPA) and the Primary Springs Protection Zone (PSPZ). The application proposes rezoning the entire property to Rural Commercial (RC-1) for the purposes of a “landscape contractor’s yards”, however, this rezoning would entitle them to any and all permitted uses under the RC-1 zoning classification.
