DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
A budget amendment is necessary to realign accounts and ensure sufficient funding for expenditures through the remainder of the fiscal year, as additional training opportunities not included in the original budget have arisen and fleet repair and maintenance costs are trending higher than initially projected; however, adequate funds are available within the Operating Supplies account to cover these increases.
