DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On November 3, 2020, the Board approved a one (1) year renewal term with First Mobile Trust, LLC to continue to provide Interactive Voice Response (IVR), online billing, and payment services by phone and text for Marion County Utilities (MCU) customers. At the time of renewal, MCU was beginning the process of transitioning these services to Paymentus, whose software works well with Tyler-Munis. Purchase Order 2100511 was processed for $84,850 to cover a partial year of service in anticipation of the transition to Paymentus being completed. The process is not yet completed and, at this time, a change order is being presented to increase the purchase order amount by an additional $87,440 to cover bill printing and postage service through the rest of this fiscal year. If approved, the change order will be presented for the Chairman’s signature after the meeting, and when returned will be processed by Procurement.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Additional expenditure of $87,440. Total Purchase Order value of $172,290.
