DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On May 19, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners approved Contracts with ten (10) engineering firms to provide various civil/site-related engineering services for the County. Firms are selected based on area of specialty and equitable distribution of work among all firms in accordance with §287.055 (CCNA). Guerra Development Corporation has been selected to provide design/permitting phase services for the Stormwater Drainage Retention Area (DRA) retrofits in Silver Springs Shores. The work will consist of coordination with the geotechnical services provider and environmental sub-consultant to design and permit the retrofit of two (2) existing DRAs with Bold & Gold soil amendment. The project will improve water quality of stormwater in the Silver Springs springshed.
Attached for review is the Guerra Development Corporation proposal that includes the Scope of Work.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; project cost is $55,256. Funding from the Stormwater Program (EK430538), Project Code SMC005WQ.
