DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On August 2, 2022, the Board approved the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan for Community Services which is associated with the FY 2019-2024 Five (5) Year Consolidated Plan.
The City of Ocala applied to Community Service’s FY 2022-2023 request for application to increase its Homeless Street Outreach Services which includes assessing homeless individuals and families and coordinating them to services as a part of the Ocala/Marion Joint Office of Homeless. These ESG funds must be expended by September 30, 2024.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
Motion to approve and authorize Chair and Clerk to execute this agreement between Marion County and the City of Ocala and all necessary documents associated with this agreement.
