DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The FY 2027-2031 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) was approved by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) on May 19, 2026. This budget amendment aligns current fiscal year project balances across active Transportation Infrastructure Surtax projects with the funding levels identified in the approved TIP. In addition, adjustments are included to properly allocate staff billing charges to the applicable projects. Funding appropriations will be redistributed among multiple Transportation Infrastructure Surtax projects; however, the overall Transportation Infrastructure Surtax budget will remain unchanged. These adjustments ensure that project funding accurately reflects the approved capital planning framework and supports the continued implementation of scheduled transportation improvements.
