DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue works with the Medical Examiner's Office relating to the Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant that is awarded through the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). The Medical Examiner's Office received this award letter in April to purchase a mortuary cot and 2 iPad pros. This award requires that the receipts for purchases be submitted by October 1, 2024 and is being recognized in order to move forward with purchasing the items with the awarded funds.

Increase Medical Examiner Fund appropriation by $3,000.
