DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of the Animal Services Department, Procurement is presenting this agenda item for consideration and approval by the Board. The recent donation of a farm for a future Animal Shelter facility has generated the need for certain equipment to maintain the grounds. At this time Animal Services has small non-commercial grade zero turn mowers used at the Shocker Park facility which are not appropriate for the new farm. Acting Director, Stephanie Kash, is requesting to purchase a commercial grade mower (model Z960M) which will assist with the ground’s maintenance at the new site.
Attached is a copy of the quote provided to Animal Services for the Board’s consideration. This mower is on Florida State Contract 25101900-21-STC.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; expenditure not to exceed $13,380.12. Funding will come from AA315562-564101-General Fund
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
Allow the Chairman and Clerk to approve the purchase and allow staff to process a purchase order.
