DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This Budget Amendment Resolution (BAR) is due to an amendment to the original Interlocal agreement with Marion County Hospital District, which was approved on the November 5, 2024 BOCC meeting (2024-17015). This amendment provides for Marion County Hospital District to be the disbursing agent for the Regional Opioid Plan according to the priorities set by the Opioid Settlement Committee. This BAR moves the funds to the appropriate expense line to facilitate disbursement to Marion County Hospital District, according to the amended agreement. This is a onetime charge of $3,709,750.
