DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Clerk of Court and Comptroller is requesting additional funds for costs related to the Value Adjustment Board (VAB) process. The number of petitions, including late ones, that must be processed continues to increase each year. The rise in petitions directly leads to a greater number of hearings and consequently leads to increased magistrate expenses, The requested additional funds will ensure the efficient administration of the VAB process. Additionally, this is recurring expense, as such we are requesting to increase the FY 2026-27 budget by $10,000 to $60,000.
