DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this request is to transfer unspent funds from Repairs and Maintenance, Computer Software and Office Supplies into Machinery and Equipment and Operating Supplies. Funding is available since the department did not spend as much as expected on repairs and software due to cost savings. Replacement of one of our backup systems is needed sooner than expected and transferring the funds into Machinery and Equipment will allow the department to purchase the needed equipment and computer hardware.
