DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:Carol McCurdy retired from Marion County Public Safety Communications in 2023 after 11 years of service. Ms. McCurdy has continued to live within Marion County and would like to return to Marion County Public Safety Communications in the capacity of Training Quality Assurance Technician.According to the Marion County Board of County Commissioners Employee Handbook, all employees that have formally retired from the Florida Retirement System must have Board approval in order to be rehired. Therefore, we respectfully request the approval to rehire Carol McCurdy as a Training Quality Assurance Technician within Marion County Public Safety Communications.
