DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Due to issues with a lift station, an unusual amount of overtime has been required of maintenance technicians. Additionally, unfilled operations positions have necessitated further overtime to ensure shifts are covered and processes continue running smoothly. Over the past several months, there has also been an unusually high number of motors, pumps, and mixers requiring repair or replacement.
Because of current staff vacancies, funds are available in the Health Insurance and FICA Tax budgets. Furthermore, there have been very few sewer line repairs this fiscal year, allowing for a transfer of funds from that account as well.
