DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Martel Landfill CIP Project SWC000006 was originally set up with funds for assessment/design, and for construction/rehabilitation due to groundwater contamination and a consent order issued in 1988. The assessment and repair of the groundwater contamination areas has been completed. The Martel Landfill satisfied the consent order of 1988 in 2015. Due to the site being prone to subsidence (sink holes), these funds can be better utilized for rental of equipment and purchase of aggregate in the event a sink hole is discovered. This is a one-time request.

Approve attached Budget Amendment Resolution, amend the CIP, and re-appropriate $16,853 into FY 21/22.
