The statutes specify that the funds can be distributed and used to improve and expend pre-hospital emergency medical services in the state. This award will pay for AEDs at public locations in Growth Services, Animal Services, Judicial Center and the Property Appraiser/Tax Collector main office, as well as equipment mounts for the drones for special operations for search and rescue; and accessories for the ventilators that are available on all ambulances. This is an annual grant and is being recognized now that the funds have been completely received. This is non-recurring and should be completed by September 30,2026.
