DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On September 17, 2020, the Board approved a contract with Kronos, Inc. (Kronos) for the implementation of a countywide timekeeping system integrated with the Tyler ERP system. We are now presenting the renewals of Contract Amendments Four and Five, which were previously approved by the Board on June 18, 2024, as outlined below:
21C-007-CA-04:
Annual Telestaff Cloud Maintenance for Fire Rescue and Public Safety Communications. This cloud-based platform combines time, overtime, and vacation assignments in one system, allowing employees to track time, submit time-off requests, and maintain compliance with labor laws.
21C-007-CA-05:
UKG Pro Workforce Management. This cloud-based suite integrates HR, payroll, and talent management, using AI and other smart technologies to provide workforce insights and improve employee management.
This agenda item further requests that the annual renewals associated with these services - including any renewals or amendments for services covered under the master agreement and associated with this contract - not be required to come before the Board for approval each year, provided expenditures do not exceed the approved annual budgeted amounts, and further authorizes the County Administrator, Mounir Bouyounes, to execute such renewals and amendments on behalf of the County.
Attached are the renewal documents for review. Upon approval, they will be processed, purchase orders issued to Kronos, and the records incorporated into the project file.

Motion to approve the renewal of Contract Amendments Four and Five with Kronos, Inc., and authorize the County Administrator to execute any subsequent renewals or amendments for services under the master agreement provided expenditures remain within the approved annual budgeted amounts.
