DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Marion County Human Resources, Procurement Services issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified vendors to provide a cloud-based Risk Management Information System (RMIS). The scope of work includes claims and incident management, safety and compliance tracking, reporting and analytics, system implementation, data migration, training, and ongoing technical support.
Following further review and discussion with the County’s Human Resources Department, it has been determined that it is in the County’s best interest to reject all four (4) proposals received to allow Risk and Benefit Services to implement, test, and evaluate an internal process utilizing existing County resources that has the potential to provide cost savings to the County.
If, following implementation and evaluation of the internal process, the County determines that RMIS services are still needed, the County may revisit the project and re-solicit the services in accordance with applicable County procurement requirements.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
None; rejecting all proposals carries no budget impact.
