DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County received correspondence dated November 12, 2025, regarding notice of intent to restrict groundwater usage as an institutional control at and around Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Facility (LMMFC). LMMFC is the responsible party for site rehabilitation and has requested that the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) approve a No Further Action Proposal with Controls Plan (NF AP) and issue a Conditional Site Rehabilitation Completion Order (CSRCO). LMMFC is seeking this order in reference to FDEP Site ID # FLD061993606, located at 498 Oak Road, Ocala, Florida (Site). Marion County was provided such notice as a property owner in the impacted area.
