DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Facilities Management, Procurement advertised a bid seeking a certified company to perform quarterly and annual inspections of fire sprinklers and fire pumps. Services must also include full trip inspections, internal inspections and hydro inspections in accordance with applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and State of Florida requirements.

Facilities staff recommend Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP to receive the award as the lowest, most responsive, and most responsible bidder.
Attached for review is a contract draft. Upon approval at today’s meeting, it will be sent to Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP for signatures. Once returned, it will be forwarded to Legal, the Clerk, and Chairman for execution.
