DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This budget adjustment is necessary to increase the overall project budget for the Design of the Airport Runway Rehabilitation 5-23 project (MAC202301). The total project cost increased from $275,000, to $277,319, based on the final funding participation established through the grant agreements. As a result, the funding sources are being adjusted to reflect the final participation of 95% Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), 4% Federal Department of Transportation (FDOT), and 1% local funding. This adjustment provides the budget authority necessary to complete the design phase of the project. Funding will be provided through the executed grant agreements and consists of FAA funding of $263,454 (95%), FDOT funding of $11,092 (4%), and a local match of $2,773 (1%).
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Increase Marion County Airport Fund appropriation by $5,046.
