DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Medicaid monthly charges from the Florida Department of Revenue increased from $749,953.50 to $793,000.58 beginning in July 2026, coinciding with the start of the State’s new fiscal year. The current budget provides sufficient funding to cover only two of the three remaining monthly payments. Therefore, funds will be transferred from reserve for contingency to cover the additional amount needed for the final payment.
