DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The flag football organization, Ocala 4 Football, Inc. (Organization), has requested to enter into a limited use agreement to utilize portions of Rotary Sportsplex, specifically for the purpose of conducting a recreational flag football program. The agreement will allow the Organization to utilize Rotary Sportsplex as specified in the terms and conditions of the agreement for a period of one recreational flag football season, which is December 5, 2026 - February 22, 2027.
The attached Athletic Facility Agreement establishes the approved amenities and scheduled usage of those amenities, establishes both the County and Organization’s obligations, establishes park rules and field usage requirements and establishes the appropriate usage fees.
This agreement has been reviewed and approved by board members with Ocala 4 Football, Inc, as well as the County Attorney’s office. The agreement is attached to this agenda item for board consideration and approval.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Revenue generating; annual revenue of $24,000.
