DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This Agreement between Florida Gas Transmission Company, LLC (FGT) and Marion County provides consent for the construction, operation, and maintenance of roadway improvements within an existing 30 foot wide natural gas pipeline easement associated with the NW 49th Street Phase 3 (from NW Hwy 225A to NW 44th Avenue) Road Improvement Project.
The Agreement establishes construction requirements to protect the existing pipeline facilities, preserves FGT's rights to access and maintain its infrastructure, and defines the County's responsibilities for roadway improvements within the easement, including restoration costs associated with future pipeline work. The Agreement also provides for temporary construction easements necessary for future pipeline maintenance and improvements.
