DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On April 17, 2026, Purchase Order 2601169 was issued to CPH Consulting, LLC, for engineering services to evaluate the headworks at the Silver Springs Shores Water Reclamation Facility.
Following completion of the initial analysis, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) requested that the County provide a more comprehensive headworks analysis. To satisfy FDEP's request, additional engineering services are required to prepare the expanded technical evaluation and report for submission to FDEP.
Change Order 1 increases the purchase order by $49,835, to authorize CPH Consulting, LLC to complete the additional scope of work. No additional contract time is requested.
The Change Order and detailed proposal are attached for review. Following approval at today’s meeting, the Change Order will be presented to the Chairman and Clerk for signature.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; additional expenditure of $49,835, resulting in a total purchase order amount of $85,725. Funding is available in ZF445535-531109, Marion County Utility Fund.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the change order, allow staff to process, and authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute Change Order 1 to Purchase Order 2601169.
