LDC 6.8.6.K(2) Buffers
CODE states (2) B-Type buffer shall consist of a 20-foot wide landscape strip with a buffer wall. The buffer shall contain at least two shade trees and three accent/ornamental trees for every 100 lineal feet or fractional part thereof. Shrubs and groundcovers, excluding turfgrass, shall comprise at least 50 percent of the required buffer. Table 6.8.2 Requires Type B Buffer between COM and SFR uses.
APPLICANT - Existing Church has SUP #951005SU, dated October 17, 1995. Stating: The trees within the required side setbacks be maintained to act as a buffer between the subject site and adjacent properties. Existing trees were utilized in original Site Plan Approval October 29, 1996. Applicant requests to use current buffering.
LDC 6.8.6.K(3) Buffers
CODE states C-Type buffer shall consist of a 15-foot-wide landscape strip without a buffer wall. The buffer shall contain at least two shade trees and three accent/ornamental trees for every 100 lineal feet or fractional part thereof. Shrubs and groundcovers, excluding turfgrass, shall comprise at least 50 percent of the required buffer and form a layered landscape screen with a minimum height of three feet achieved within one year. Table 6.8.2 Requires Type C Buffer adjacent to R.O.W.
