DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On January 20, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners approved the updated 2026 schedule of regular meetings of the Board of County Commissioners, including adjustments of dates and times for the planning and zoning portion of the meeting. As part of that action, a hearing for planning and zoning items was scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
Staff is requesting that the Board cancel the afternoon hearing on September 1, 2026. The 2:00 p.m. hearing is no longer required, as all cases assigned to the August cycle will be consolidated and heard Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m
