DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This is a request to approve a purchase agreement in the amount of $15,000 plus closing costs for a portion of parcel 23299-005-00 associated with the NW 80th/70th Avenue Segment 3 Road Improvement Project (from +/- 900 feet North of SR 40 to +/- 600 feet South of US Hwy 27). This is a 0.037-acre right-of-way taking of a 6.98-acre parcel.
The negotiated agreement is inclusive of any and all costs associated with this transaction. There are cost savings recognized in this negotiation by avoiding additional costs that occur during condemnation proceedings.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; expenditure of $15,000 plus closing costs (Fund STC073812- CIPTRANSP- EXPANS ROW-738- VJ738541-561301).
