DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This agreement continues a partnership between Marion County and the College of Central Florida to provide professional training for Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) firefighters. Under this arrangement, the College supplies the expert instructors and curriculum, while MCFR provides the necessary facilities, vehicles, and equipment. This contract ensures that firefighters continue to receive instruction in firefighting, emergency medical services, and fire prevention. This is a renewal that will be effective until September 30, 2026.
