DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Staff will present the attached proposed amendment of Land Development Code (LDC) Section 4.2.30 Government Use (G-U) Classification updating the permitted uses, special uses, and establishing development standards.
The proposed LDC amendments were considered by the Land Development Regulation Commission (LDRC) in a public hearing held May 21, 2025. The LDRC recommended approval of these items and motioned to forward them to the Board of County Commissioners for consideration.
This is the first of two required public hearings. The second public hearing is scheduled for July 1, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium.
