DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Marion County Facilities, Procurement advertised a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to contract with qualified firms to perform HVAC replacement and repairs on an as needed basis to Marion County owned and leased buildings. Seven (7) firms responded; two (2) firms were deemed non-responsive. The Selection Committee reviewed five (5) proposals, ranking them per the tabulation below:

Following negotiations with the top four (4) ranked firms, the Selection Committee recommends awarding contracts to Balanced Mechanical & Plumbing Services, LLC, Climate Control Mechanical Services, Inc., Sherman Mechanical Contractors, LLC, and Air Mechanical & Service Corp. Facilities Director, Jared Goodspeed, supports the Selection Committee’s recommendation.
Attached for review are the draft contracts for each of the firms; pending approval at today's meeting, they will be sent to the firms for signatures. Upon return, they will be forwarded to Legal, the Clerk and Chairman for signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
None - task orders that exceed the County Administrator’s approval threshold will be brought back before the Board for review and approval.

Motion to approve and allow staff to issue, and upon approval from Legal, authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the contract under 25Q-058.
