DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Staff will present the attached proposed amendment of Land Development Code (LDC) Article 1, Division 2, Definitions, adding the terms “Big Box Retailer” and “Shopping Center.”
The proposed LDC amendments were considered by the Land Development Regulation Commission (LDRC) in a public hearing held on October 1, 2025, and heard at the first of two required BCC Public Hearings on November 4, 2025. The LDRC recommended approval of these items and motioned to forward them to the Board of County Commissioners for consideration.
This is the second of two required public hearings.
