DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Rogers Engineering, LLC., on behalf of Zuber Mine, Inc., CDH Realty, LLC., and CGB Construction Group, Inc., has filed a Zoning Change Application to rezone ±28.22 Acres of ±31/31 Acres from Single-Family Dwelling (R-1) and Mixed Residential (R-4) Zones to Regional Business (B-4) Zone. The site is located at 31277 NW 56th Street and forms the southwest corner of the NW Gainesville Road and NW 56th Street intersection as well as the northeast corner of the NW Gainesville Road and NW 52nd Street intersection.  The site future land use designation is Employment Center and the request Regional Business (B-4) Zone is a potentially compatible zoning classification for that land use designation.  

 

Staff recommends approval of the request. The Planning and Zoning Commission agreed with staff’s findings and recommendation, and recommended approval unanimously.
