DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Request approval to enter into an agreement between the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court and Marion County Board of County Commissioners to provide funding for a Court Program

Specialist I FTE in Post Adjudication Expansion Drug Court (23-24-02) and in Veterans Treatment Court (23- 24-03) as well as operating expenses for the next state fiscal year 2023-2024.

 

The current agreements expire on June 30, 2023, and are being renewed. The Court will reimburse the County BOCC for these positions upon receipt of invoices submitted to the Court's Contract Manager.

 

BUDGET/IMPACT:

$135,680.01 in salaries and benefits as well as $40,000 in operating expenses, which will be reimbursed
