DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
At the August 17, 2021 Board meeting, Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) received approval on the grant agreement with Florida Hospital Ocala, Inc. dba Advent Health Ocala and The Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County that agreed to provide 100% reimbursement for two (2) Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Paramedic positions. Salaries and expenses for these two (2) positions will be reimbursed to Marion County 100%, not to exceed $10,563.33 per month. The term of the agreement is for one (1) year starting September 1, 2021, with an opportunity for renewal for one (1) additional year.
Due to these positions being reimbursed at 100%, there is no budget impact.
