DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This is a request to approve a Purchase Agreement associated with the Country Gardens Flood Relief Project in the amount of $255,000 plus closing costs for parcel 3058-042-000. This parcel is an improved lot of approximately 0.26 acres. The 1,766 square foot single family residence consists of three (3) bedroom, two (2) bath. The proposed use of parcel 3058-042-000 is for the construction of a drainage retention area since it has been determined to be a more suitable site and has known historic flooding issues.
The home is currently in the process of being renovated. The seller has requested additional funds to cover the costs associated with labor and materials for any additional time that may prolong the conveyance, per the terms and conditions outline in the attached addenda.
