DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This item requests approval to schedule a workshop regarding the Marion Oaks Manor Extension Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study. The Marion Oaks Manor Extension Project is from SW 49th Avenue to CR 475, including a flyover of Interstate-75 (I-75). The workshop is proposed for November 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium.
The purpose of the workshop is to review the preliminary recommendations of the PD&E study prior to the public information meeting. The PD&E process includes evaluating the transportation needs, corridor alternatives, environmental considerations, and potential project impacts, resulting in the identification of a recommended alternative for advancement into the next phase of project development.
