DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
At its August 3, 2021 meeting, the Board approved contracts with two (2) firms to provide HVAC/Mechanical services on an as-needed basis for the County. Facilities Management would like to award the AHU (Air Handling Unit) replacements for Fire Station #22 (Rainbow Springs) to Air Mechanical & Service Corporation (AMSCO). The work will include the removal of the existing AHU’s, condensers, refrigerant piping, condensation piping, and the installation of new AHU’s, AHU stands, sheet metal duct, refrigerant piping, mechanical insulation, test and balance, and mechanical permitting.
A copy of AMSCO’s proposal is attached for review and will become part of the project file and backup to the purchase order.

Neutral; project cost is $61,996
