DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of the Office of the County Engineer (OCE), Procurement Services advertised a bid to resurface SW 83rd Place Road/SW 189th Court Road. The work includes resurfacing the existing pavement, constructing side street and driveway aprons, sodding shoulders, and pavement markings. Four (4) Contractors responded to the bid. County Engineer, Elton Holland, requests to contract with Art Walker Construction, Inc., the lowest responsive bidder based on the tabulation below:

BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; project cost is $484,424. Up to ten percent (10%) contingency may be added to the purchase order in accordance with the Procurement Manual. Funding from County Engineer 80% Gas Tax (BM761541), Project Code TIP077464.
