DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On October 3, 2023, the Board approved Contract 23Q-173, Pre-Qualified AXIS Security Video Surveillance Systems, establishing agreements with seven (7) qualified vendors to provide surveillance system equipment and installation services. The current contract expires on October 31, 2026.
Marion County Information Technology Director, Tom Northey, has evaluated vendor participation during the current contract term and recommends renewing agreements with only the following two (2) vendors:
• DAB Consulting, Inc.
• Integrated Fire & Security Solutions, Inc.
The remaining five (5) awarded vendors have not submitted bids for several recent surveillance system projects. Renewing only the two (2) vendors that have actively participated will streamline the solicitation process, improve procurement efficiency, and better support the County's efforts to implement security-related projects in a timely manner.
Attached for review are two (2) contract amendments, one (1) for DAB Consulting and one (1) for Integrated Fire & Security Solutions, Inc. Pending approval at today's meeting, the amendments will be routed to DAB Consulting, Inc., and Integrated Fire & Security Solutions, Inc. for signatures and upon return, will be routed for the County Attorney, Clerk and Chairman’s signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; funding for surveillance system equipment and installation services will be budgeted within the appropriate departmental accounts as Task Orders are approved.

Recommended action
Motion to approve the renewal of Contract 23Q-173, Pre-Qualified AXIS Security Video Surveillance Systems, with DAB Consulting, Inc. and Integrated Fire & Security Solutions, Inc., and upon approval from Legal, authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the two (2) contract amendments.
