DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The items below have been received by Procurement Services and are approved in conformance with the Procurement Code/Manual, pending approval at today’s meeting.
1. Pending Requisition/Cumberland International Trucks of Florida LLC - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase one (1) 2026 International HV 607 4x2 chassis - remount - emergency tanker. Total expenditure of $144,077.00. Funds are available in line VJ732522-564101 - Infrast Surtax Cap Proj Fund. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under Sheriff’s Contract #FSA23-VEH21.
2. Pending Requisition/Kraus Associates, Inc. dba AK Associates - Marion County 9-1-1 Management requests approval to purchase Motorola Support Services which will provide the specialized maintenance and technical support required for the County’s Vesta 911 system. This purchase ensures reliable operation of the system used by Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) for critical emergency response. Total expenditure of $87,297.98; funding from CM313525-546301. This purchase qualifies under Bid Exemption 25BE-158, which authorizes procurement through this method.
3. Pending Requisition/ ETR, LLC - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase four (4) 2025 International CV515 SFA 4x4 AEV Custom Type 1 units, drawings, and chassis. Total expenditure of $1,499,308. Funds are available in lines VJ33526-564101 Infrast Surtax Cap Proj Fund. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under Sheriff’s Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0
4. Pending Requisition/ETR, LLC - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase 2025 International CV515 SFA 4x4 cab and chassis for the removal and remounting of AEV type1 module unit #24. Total expenditure of $81,520. Funds are available in line ZK160519-545701 Insurance Fund. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under Sheriff’s Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0
5. Pending Requisition/Cumberland International Trucks - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase four (4) 2024 International CV 4x4, chassis. Each unit includes liquid spring, two tone paint, and polished aluminum wheels. Total expenditure of $413,020. Funds are available in line VJ733526-564101 Infrast Surtax Cap Proj Fund. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under Sheriff Contract FSA25-VEH23.
6. Pending Requisition/Florida Coast Equipment - Marion County Solid Waste requests approval to purchase two (2) Kubota RTV-X1130WL at the cost $28,869.52 per unit to include all specifications detailed on the quote attached. Total expenditure of $57,739.04. Funds are available in line ZA425534-564101 Solid Waste Disposal Fund. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under Sourcewell Contract 112624-KBA.
7. Pending Requisition/Environmental Products Group - Marion County Utilities requests approval to purchase one (1) 2026 Vactor Supplied Chassis - Tandem Axle, 2026 International HV607 in the amount of $534,947.00, to include all the specifications detailed on Quote #2025-78832. This replaces Asset #48204, 2016 Freightliner M2-112 Vactor. Total expenditure of $534,947.00. Funds are available in line ZF445535-564101 This purchase meets competitive bidding process requirements under Sourcewell Contract # 101221-VTR.
8. Pending Requisition/Alan Jay Fleet Sales - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase one (1) 2026 Ford F-250 Super Crew Cab Pickup 4WD 160” WB XLT 6.5’ Bed. Total expenditure $75,003. Funds are available in line VJ732522-564101 Infrast Surtax Cap Proj Fund. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under Sourcewell Contract #2026 091521-NAF032824-NAF.
