DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County has identified Parcel Identification Number 15548-001-00 as necessary for the NE 35th Street Phase 1B Road Widening Project. Phase 1B is from W Anthony Road to NE Jacksonville Road. The property is zoned B-2.
The property is currently listed for sale by owner along with adjacent Parcel Identification Number 15548-003-00; the owner requires both parcels to be purchased together.
The proposed Resolution authorizes the County Administrator, or designee, to negotiate and complete the acquisition of both parcels for a combined purchase price not exceeding $150,000, plus County-paid closing costs anticipated not to exceed $10,000.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; not to exceed $160,000, including closing costs; funding $130,772 - TIP70100C-TIP ROADS-EXPANS ROW-762C (VF762541-561610) and $29,229 - TIP70100C-TIP ROADS-EXPANS ROW-771 (GA771541-561301).
